Laboratory Technician | Pischedda Lab

Avigayil was born and raised in New York. She graduated from Barnard College in May of 2022, with a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. While she was an undergraduate, Avigayil worked as a student researcher in the Pischedda Lab, studying the evolution of male mate choice in fruit flies. She also worked for two years as an intern at The Earth Institute. Avigayil is thrilled to continue researching and working in the Pischedda Lab, now as Lab Technician. Her primary research interests are in evolution and animal behavior and, in warm weather, you can usually find her outside searching for jumping spiders throughout campus.
