Supplemental Instruction

SI stands for Supplemental Instruction, a peer-led instructional program offered by the Biology Department for the 1500-level Biology course and for BC 2100 Molecular and Mendelian Genetics.  This program is designed to help students succeed in traditionally difficult courses. Teams of students who have successfully navigated the introductory course sequence serve as student leaders who offer weekly SI sessions and office hours.

*SI sessions are an optional study resource for students and student attendance to these sessions is kept confidential.

*The program is open to all students that are enrolled in either BC 1500/ BC 1502 or BC 2100.
